The Process

We fulfil every client’s vision. Beyond our individual model options in styling and engine configuration, each vehicle can be tailored by combining elements across models ensuring every creation is a true expression of your dream.

We Build Your Dream

An Erbacher backdate is more than a car. It is a personal statement, shaped entirely around your vision, your taste, and your idea of perfection. Much like building a home, every detail is carefully considered and brought together to create something truly unique.

It begins with the exterior. The presence, the proportions, the character. Whether you are drawn to a timeless, understated look or a bold motorsport inspired design, every element defines the identity of your build. From the iconic ducktail to a turbo spoiler or refined retractable wing, each choice gives the car its own unmistakable personality.

Inside, the experience becomes even more personal. Finest materials are selected and handcrafted to your preference. Elegant Italian leather, Alcantara, or a more performance driven interior all come together to create a space that feels exactly right. From comfortable seats for long drives to uncompromising carbon bucket seats, every detail serves a purpose while delivering emotion.

At Erbacher, nothing is overlooked. Every switch, every surface, every component is designed with intention. Hand finished controls and precision machined elements create a level of quality that you can see and feel in every moment.

Performance forms the heart of every build. From meticulously rebuilt original engines to our most advanced creations, each option delivers its own unique character. Whether it is a classic air cooled setup or our 4.3 liter engine with over 400 horsepower, or even the 4.0 liter twin turbo with more than 550 horsepower, every configuration is built to match your vision.

Every step of the process is guided with care and precision. Every decision is made with purpose. In the end, you are not simply driving a car, but experiencing something that has been created entirely for you.

Exterior Styling

This defines the car’s exterior appearance and overall character. It is about how the car presents itself, including the colour, carbon elements, and the overall visual styling.

Interior Styling

This covers the full interior configuration, including whether the car should have a roll bar, a full roll cage, or neither. It should also include seat selection, steering wheel materials, seat materials, side panel finishes, carpets, and all other interior details.

Engine Configuration

This is where the customer chooses the engine setup they want.

Driving Setup

This defines how the vehicle should be tuned and calibrated. For example, whether it needs traction control, ABS, and whether it will be driven mainly on the road, on track, for hill climbs, or in other performance environments.
